Thai trip 12/09/2012 - Day 1, ♥
Bangkok Trip Day 1
Wake up at 7am to prepare
Reach airport at 8am..
Have breakfast at KFC..
This is wad we have on that day..
After breakfast then check in with Jet Star
Headed inside airport and relax..
Shopping...
Walking...
Talking...
Finally...
Is flying time!!!
Nice blue sky of Singapore... hehe
Reach bangkok in 2hours time..
When i landed..
I spend 20mins inside before walking to the check point..
But yet the check point forever long que... T_T
Que for more then 35mins... Zzzz
And finally done...
The first thing i do when i reach is...
Buy prepaid card!!
Under the tele-co dtac promotion
I bought with 1week unlimited data plan at 399 baht. (SGD16)
Free data usage for 1st day.
Is more then enough to use for 4D3N.
I called back sg and chat more then 1hour and finish all the amt inside at the last day.
After then took a cab from airport to hotel.
There is a 50baht (SGD2) surcharge on top of the meter charge depart from airport.
*Always remember dun take airport taxi svc which cost u 1,200 baht (SGD48)! Just go to the basement taxi stand and take a taxi from there, And make sure the driver on the meter.
From Airport to My hotel only cost me 415baht (SGD 16.60) included the charge.
You save the amount for taxi you can spend more! $$
Arrived at "My Hotel"
Looks very nice right..
But personally i dont like this hotel.
Reason:
1. Is at the end of the road
2. At night the road is too dark to walk in, As no street light
3. The hotel tuk tuk only send u to the main street and not the mrt
4. Called them to pick up but they mention too many customer as you walk to the place they alight other customer when they actually can pick up at the street infront, And yet no customer at all!
5. The hotel too small until
6. The breakfast cannot make it..
7. You cannot find any convient stall nearby
8. You will have to walk to the mrt station using the train road, And you cant walk back as too dark n no light.
9. Lift is so small that only can take up to 6pax (small size)
Good thing of the hotel:
1. Budget stay
2. 25 to 30mins walk to fashion mall
Below is the REAL photo of the hotel inside.. Is so much different from wad in the website
The room for 3, No extra bed cos they dont have.
tuk tuk looks normal.
Outside the toilet, Beside the bed. T_T
You can try and stay for budget stay.
4D3N 3,600 (150SGD).
Took the train to Siam and walk 10mins to the 4 face buddha for praying
Somewhere near the four face buddha, there is another buddha
I dunno what is it called but juz pray..
Then walk over to Siam..
Have Mac for dinner, People might thing why mac?
Cause in Thailand Mac, there is PORK BURGER!!
Then from Siam paragon basement near taxi stand can take free shuttle to Siam Discovery Centre.
There nothing much, people go there cause of...
NARAYA!!
I spend 1 hour inside there to buy those only..
Cheap like mad!! hahahahahaha!!!
Another Naraya is at Central World, Which is near 4 face buddha.
After then already night time so we walk outside night street market and bought some stuff
Then took a tuk tuk back to hotel.
Remember 1 important note.
when you take tuk tuk in bangkok.
Always remember to ask for price before you board!
if not they will anyhow charge u.
And always ask for discount.
That is my travel dairy n some tips for D1.. hehe
